Business Terms

Trustroller Business Terms define the rules and responsibilities for businesses using our review and reputation management platform, including business profiles, reviews, subscriptions, payments, refunds, data usage, and compliance requirements.

Scope and Purpose of Business Terms

These Business Terms govern the use of Trustroller by businesses, organizations, and authorized representatives who create, claim, manage, or promote business profiles on the Trustroller platform. These Terms apply in addition to Trustroller’s general Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. In the event of any conflict, these Business Terms shall take precedence for business-related activities.

Trustroller provides businesses with tools to manage their online presence, respond to customer reviews, access analytics, and utilize reputation management features. Trustroller does not guarantee business performance, customer acquisition, or review outcomes. Participation on the platform is intended to enhance transparency and customer engagement, not to provide advertising guarantees or commercial success.

Business Eligibility and Authorization

Only legitimate businesses and authorized representatives may create or claim business profiles on Trustroller. By registering or claiming a business profile, you represent and warrant that you have the legal authority to act on behalf of the business entity and to bind it to these Business Terms.

Trustroller reserves the right to request verification, including business documentation, domain ownership, or official contact confirmation. Failure to provide accurate or truthful information may result in denial, suspension, or removal of the business profile.

Business Profile Creation and Management

Business profiles may be created through owner submission or generated using publicly available information. Claimed profiles allow businesses to manage profile details, respond to reviews, and access additional tools.

Businesses are responsible for ensuring that all profile information is accurate, complete, and up to date. Misleading descriptions, false claims, or impersonation of other businesses are strictly prohibited. Trustroller reserves the right to edit, restrict, or remove profiles that violate platform policies or applicable laws.

Reviews, Ratings, and Platform Neutrality

Trustroller does not create, edit, or influence customer reviews or ratings. All reviews reflect the independent opinions of users based on their personal experiences. Businesses acknowledge that reviews may be positive, negative, or neutral and agree not to attempt to manipulate ratings or suppress legitimate feedback.

Trustroller does not guarantee review volume, rating improvement, or customer sentiment. Businesses may not offer incentives, compensation, or pressure in exchange for reviews. Any attempt to artificially influence reviews may result in enforcement action.

Business Responses and Communication Standards

Claimed businesses may publicly respond to reviews through Trustroller. Responses must remain professional, respectful, factual, and compliant with platform guidelines. Businesses may not harass, threaten, intimidate, or retaliate against reviewers.

Trustroller reserves the right to moderate, restrict, or remove business responses that violate these Terms or community standards. Repeated misuse of response features may result in temporary or permanent loss of response privileges.

Premium Business Services and Subscriptions

Trustroller may offer paid business plans that include enhanced analytics, widgets, branding tools, integrations, priority support, or additional management features. Subscription details, pricing, billing cycles, and included features are disclosed at the time of purchase.

Payment for premium services does not affect review moderation, authenticity checks, or rating calculations. Trustroller reserves the right to modify or discontinue premium features with reasonable notice. Subscription fees are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Business Data Usage and Analytics

Businesses may access analytics and insights generated from publicly available reviews, ratings, and platform interactions. These analytics are provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for business decisions.

Trustroller does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or predictive value of analytics data. Businesses are responsible for interpreting and using insights responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws.

Prohibited Business Conduct

Businesses may not misuse the Trustroller platform in any manner that compromises platform integrity or user trust. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to, review manipulation, submission of false information, impersonation, data scraping, harassment of users, or attempts to interfere with platform security.

Trustroller reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and take enforcement action, including profile suspension, feature restriction, termination of services, or legal action where necessary.

Suspension, Termination, and Enforcement

Trustroller may suspend or terminate a business profile or access to business services at its sole discretion, with or without notice, for violations of these Business Terms, the general Terms of Use, or applicable laws.

Termination may result in loss of access to premium features, analytics, and profile management tools. Trustroller shall not be liable for any losses, damages, or reputational impact resulting from enforcement actions.

Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trustroller shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from business use of the platform. This includes loss of revenue, customers, data, goodwill, or reputation.

Trustroller provides the platform on an “as is” and “as available” basis and makes no warranties regarding business outcomes, review sentiment, or customer behavior. Use of Trustroller by businesses is at their own risk.

Payments, Billing, and Invoicing

Businesses that subscribe to paid Trustroller services agree to pay all applicable fees in accordance with the selected plan, billing cycle, and pricing displayed at the time of purchase. Fees may be charged on a recurring basis (monthly, yearly, or otherwise) unless canceled before the renewal date. Businesses are responsible for maintaining valid and up-to-date payment information.

Trustroller may issue invoices, receipts, or billing confirmations electronically. Failure to complete payment, chargebacks, or disputed transactions may result in suspension or termination of premium features. Trustroller is not responsible for fees imposed by payment processors, banks, or third-party financial institutions.

Refunds, Cancellations, and Downgrades

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, fees paid for Trustroller business services are generally non-refundable. However, businesses may be eligible for a refund if a refund request is submitted within fourteen (14) days from the date of the initial purchase. The 14-day refund policy applies only to first-time subscriptions and does not apply to renewals, upgrades, add-ons, or usage-based charges.

Businesses may cancel or downgrade their subscriptions at any time through their account settings; however, cancellations typically take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds or credits will be issued for unused services, partial billing periods, or plan changes outside the applicable refund window. Trustroller reserves the right to deny refund requests in cases of policy violations, misuse of services, or excessive use of premium features during the refund period. Trustroller may offer promotional discounts, trials, or special pricing at its discretion, subject to additional terms and limitations.

Use of Business Branding and Content

By maintaining a business profile on Trustroller, you grant Trustroller a limited, non-exclusive right to display your business name, logo, trademarks, and publicly available information in connection with the Service. This includes use in search results, listings, widgets, and marketing materials related to the platform.

Businesses retain ownership of their branding and proprietary content. Trustroller does not claim ownership of business trademarks and will not use them in a misleading or deceptive manner.

Widgets, Integrations, and Third-Party Tools

Trustroller may offer widgets, APIs, or integrations that allow businesses to display reviews or ratings on external websites or platforms. Businesses are responsible for proper implementation and compliance with applicable laws, platform rules, and third-party terms.

Trustroller does not guarantee uninterrupted operation or compatibility of widgets or integrations and is not responsible for issues arising from third-party services, hosting environments, or external platforms.

Data Accuracy and Business Responsibility

Businesses acknowledge that customer reviews and ratings are user-generated and may not always reflect the full scope of customer experiences. Trustroller does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of review data or analytics.

Businesses are responsible for monitoring their profiles, addressing feedback appropriately, and ensuring that any actions taken based on platform insights comply with applicable laws, including consumer protection and advertising regulations.

Confidentiality and Sensitive Information

Businesses must not disclose confidential, private, or sensitive information through responses, profile content, or communications on Trustroller. This includes personal data of customers, employees, or third parties.

Trustroller is not responsible for consequences arising from a business’s disclosure of confidential information. Violations of this provision may result in content removal or enforcement action.

Compliance with Laws and Regulations

Businesses agree to comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws when using Trustroller. This includes consumer protection laws, advertising regulations, data protection requirements, and competition laws.

Trustroller does not provide legal advice and is not responsible for ensuring a business’s compliance with legal obligations. Businesses remain solely responsible for lawful conduct.

Suspension, Restriction, and Enforcement

Trustroller reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate business access to the platform, with or without notice, for violations of these Business Terms, misuse of services, or actions that threaten platform integrity or user trust.

Suspension or termination may result in loss of access to premium features, analytics, and management tools. Trustroller shall not be liable for losses resulting from enforcement actions.

Limitation of Liability for Businesses

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trustroller shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages incurred by businesses. This includes loss of revenue, customers, reputation, goodwill, or data arising from use of the Service.

Trustroller’s total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid by the business to Trustroller during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Indemnification by Businesses

Businesses agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Trustroller, its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from the business’s use of the platform, violation of these Business Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

Trustroller reserves the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification, at the business’s expense.

Data Retention, Access, and Deletion

Trustroller retains business-related data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain platform security. Business data may include profile information, analytics, communications, and subscription records. Upon termination or closure of a business account, Trustroller may retain certain information where required by law or for legitimate business purposes. Businesses may request deletion of specific data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, subject to legal and operational limitations.

Security Measures and Risk Acknowledgment

Trustroller implements reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect business data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no online platform can guarantee absolute security. Businesses acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of transmitting information over the internet and agree that Trustroller shall not be liable for security breaches beyond its reasonable control.

Public Visibility and Reputation Impact

Businesses acknowledge that reviews, ratings, responses, and certain profile information are publicly visible and may influence consumer perception. Trustroller does not control public opinion or customer sentiment and makes no guarantees regarding reputational outcomes. Businesses accept full responsibility for how they choose to engage with feedback and understand that public responses may have long-term visibility.

Platform Availability and Service Changes

Trustroller may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the business services at any time, including features, tools, integrations, or availability. While Trustroller aims to maintain reliable service, uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. Temporary downtime may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, or circumstances beyond Trustroller’s control.

Force Majeure

Trustroller shall not be held responsible for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control. Such events may include natural disasters, government actions, labor disputes, internet or power outages, cyber incidents, or failures of third-party service providers. These events do not constitute a breach of these Business Terms.

Assignment and Transfer

Businesses may not assign or transfer their rights or obligations under these Business Terms without prior written consent from Trustroller. Trustroller may assign or transfer these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets without restriction or prior notice.

Severability

If any provision of these Business Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be interpreted, where possible, to reflect the original intent of the parties.

Waiver

Failure by Trustroller to enforce any right or provision of these Business Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver must be expressly stated in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Trustroller. A waiver of one breach does not constitute a waiver of future breaches.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Business Terms shall be governed by applicable laws without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to business use of Trustroller shall, where permitted by law, be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis. Businesses waive the right to participate in class or representative actions, subject to legal limitations.

Contact Information and Support

For questions, concerns, or requests related to these Business Terms or business use of Trustroller, businesses may contact Trustroller through official support channels listed on the website. Trustroller will make reasonable efforts to respond in a timely and professional manner but does not guarantee response times.
